Thinking of coming to First Baptist Surfside?
Here are some things to help on your first visit with us.
Services: Sunday morning worship times are 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM in the sanctuary and last about an hour. Both services are the same, so come to the one that best suits you. Our services offer a blended worship style for all ages.
What Should I Wear? We do not have a set dress code and want you to come as you feel comfortable. You will find a variety of dress from casual jeans and shorts to more professional attire.
Parking: We have ample parking in front of our church and reserved spaces for our guests. We offer many handicap parking spaces and ramps for entering the buildings.
Once You Are Here: You will be warmly greeted by someone from our welcome team. They will be able to answer any questions you have (restroom location, service times, class locations, etc.). We have members of our welcome team in the lobby or Worship Center to help during services and also in our breezeway if you are interested in attending a Sunday School class.
Infants: Infants and babies are welcome in our services and classes. At the same time, we also provide a nursery during our services and Sunday School. In our nursery there is a changing and nursing area to assist parents.
Children: Children are very important to us at First Baptist Surfside. While sharing the love of Jesus, we also offer a safe and secure environment for them. We have Sunday School at 9:00 AM and Children’s Church for children ages 3 through 5th grade during our 10:30 service.
Students: For grades 6th-12th we have Sunday School at 9:00 AM and encourage our teens to worship with us.
Want to know more?
Every other month we offer “Discover FBC Surfside Lunch,” a one-time class for those who would like to know more about our church. The class starts at 11:45 AM in the fellowship hall with a light lunch.
